Flooring

Vinyl Plank

Vinyl plank is a long-lasting floor product that can last up to 20 years. It is fabricated in long planks with a modified click-lock connection system that snaps together. This allows for installation as a floating floor, no adhesive necessary. It is 100% water proof, and can be placed directly on top of the subfloor. It is made of SPC, a super-strong stone plastic composite that is strong and durable, but also flexible and easy to install.

Carpet

Carpet types can range widely, with different types of pile and many different materials to choose from.

Loop Pile                                         Nylon
Frieze                                               Olefin
Berber                                              Wool
Cut pile                                           Polyester
Plush                                                Acrylic
Patterned                                        Triexta

We have many different pile types but mostly have carpet samples made of Nylon or Polyester in store.

Laminate

Laminate floors are a hybrid floor covering consisting of a particleboard wood base topped by an image layer and a transparent wear layer. They are water resistant. Laminate
floors are always installed as floating floors. With this method, floor boards connect to each other but not to the subfloor. Foam or felt underlayment resides between the subfloor and laminate, detaching the two surfaces. The planks are either snapped together or glued together.

Hardwood

Hardwood flooring comes in long planks, usually made of hardwood such as oak, maple or walnut. It is milled with tongues and grooves on opposite edges so that the boards interlock when installed. It is always nailed down to the subfloor, a process that requires some skill. Because it is solid wood, this flooring can be sanded down and refinished several times over its life.
